I am Anne Kimberley Levine, and I go by Kim. My husband Rich Levine (a local lawyer) and I have called Evergreen home for over 20 years. I have three adult children, Michelle, Miriam, and Jesse, all of whom attended the Bergens. This summer I had the wonderful opportunity to be an Instructional Coach at Parr Elementary for the Jeffco Summer of Early Learning. My over 20 year teaching career began in South Central Los Angeles, CA, then onto La Jolla, CA, and Walnut Creek, CA, and finally landed at the Bergens (for the majority of my career). I have recently earned my Master’s in Educational Leadership from Regis University. I am an avid reader when I can be, and I love to hike. I believe children learn best when they feel secure and happy. Personal relationships with each child are my favorite part about teaching. I feel privileged and fortunate to teach here in Evergreen. I can't wait to start our new year with your cherished children, at this amazing school, in this beautiful supportive community.

My name is Elizabeth Mehmen and I play in 3rd grade!! I received my B.S. in Business with a concentration in Marketing from Colorado State University. I began my career as a corporate trainer and store manager. After eight years in corporate America, I began searching for a family friendly career change. I decided to obtain a Masters degree in Elementary Education. I then began my career in education at Bergen Meadow Elementary. I began at Bergen Meadow as a student teacher and never left! I have received endorsements in teaching Linguistically Diverse Learners, Gifted and Talented Learners, and Students with Special Needs.

I have been dating my husband for 19 years. He also went to Colorado State University and he is an engineer for the City of Lakewood. Nine years ago, we made the greatest decision of our lives and had a daughter. Elise will be attending fourth grade at Bergen Valley this year.
Besides my family and my classroom kids, I have two passions in life, I love hiking and the COLORADO ROCKIES! GO ROCKIES!!!

Meet Mrs. Mott

My name is Kim Mott, and this will be my 21st year teaching at the Bergens! I also taught in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for eight years-yikes that is a lot of teaching! I feel the most important role that I have as a teacher is to provide all modalities in the classroom, so all students have the opportunity to be successful. I feel a classroom should be very interactive but at the same time respectful. I encourage a kind classroom community where all students feel safe and ready to learn. My husband is a Social Studies teacher at Evergreen High School, so we have had the pleasure of working with many of the same students. I have three children who went through the Bergens and had wonderful experiences. I enjoy running, walking my dogs and just being with my family. Get ready for an adventure this year! Third grade has an exciting curriculum!

Hi! I’m Kirstin Pulioff, and am excited to be on the 3rd grade team here at the Bergens! This is my second year teaching at the Bergens and I am honored to work with such amazing students. With a B.S. in Forest Management, a successful writing career, and several years working in K-5 classrooms and the SPED department, I bring a rich background to the classroom. I strive to find each student’s strengths, motivations, and aspirations. Through creative teaching, engaging activities, and enrichment projects, school becomes a memorable and exciting event.

I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for 16 years, and we have two children, a daughter in 6th grade and a son in 4th grade. We moved to Evergreen four years ago and love everything about this mountain community.
